Salesforce Revenue Cloud
Automate quote-to-cash: pricing, quoting, contracts, billing and revenue recognition on one platform.

Salesforce Headless 360 is Salesforce's architecture, announced in April 2026, for making the platform's data, workflows and business logic available through APIs, MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools and CLI commands, so AI agents and other channels can use Salesforce without a browser. M40Tech helps organisations assess, design and implement Headless 360 patterns securely.
Headless 360 is an umbrella term for a set of Salesforce platform capabilities rather than a single product. It decouples Salesforce capabilities from the browser interface so they can be used by any AI agent, model or tool, while keeping Salesforce permissions, sharing rules and governance in place.
It brings together a unified data foundation (Data 360), business logic such as Apex and Flow exposed as callable services, orchestration through Agentforce and MuleSoft, and a Headless Experience Layer that delivers agent experiences on surfaces such as Slack, Microsoft Teams and messaging apps. The Salesforce user interface does not go away; Headless 360 makes the same capabilities available beyond it.
Some Headless 360 capabilities are generally available and others, such as the Headless 360 MCP server, are in beta, so we check current availability against your org and licences before recommending an approach.
We review your org's data, automation, integrations and security model and identify which processes are good candidates to expose to agents and external channels.
Design and configuration of APIs, MCP servers and connected app or external client app authentication with least-privilege access.
Refactor Flows and Apex into well-defined, reusable actions that agents and applications can call safely.
Agent experiences delivered through Agentforce and the Headless Experience Layer to channels such as Slack, Teams or custom web apps.
Permissions, audit, testing and monitoring so agents behave predictably in production.
Practical guidance for your developers on building against Salesforce with modern coding agents and CLI tooling.
An illustrative sequence showing how the pieces fit together once implemented. Your process is mapped in detail during discovery.
Salesforce data, workflows and logic are exposed through secure APIs.
Websites, apps and AI agents call those capabilities directly.
Permissions, rate limits and monitoring keep usage safe.
Front ends change without rebuilding the Salesforce back end.

A structured approach from discovery to continuous optimisation.
We start by understanding your business model, industry challenges and growth objectives. Our consultants assess your current systems, data structure and Salesforce readiness to define clear success metrics.
Based on discovery insights, we create a tailored Salesforce strategy: selecting the right Salesforce clouds, defining use cases, outlining automation opportunities and planning integrations aligned with your goals.
We design a secure, scalable Salesforce architecture with optimised data models and intuitive user experiences, focusing on performance, compliance and long-term flexibility from day one.
We configure Salesforce and build custom components, workflows and automations. Integrations with third-party tools, legacy systems and APIs are implemented to ensure seamless data flow.
Every feature goes through functional, security and performance testing. We validate workflows, data accuracy and user journeys before launch.
After deployment we provide ongoing support, performance monitoring and enhancements, continuously optimising Salesforce to drive adoption, efficiency and ROI.
Headless 360 is Salesforce's approach to exposing platform capabilities, including data, workflows and business logic, as APIs, MCP tools and CLI commands so AI agents and other applications can use Salesforce without the browser interface.
No. Users can continue to work in Lightning Experience as before. Headless 360 makes the same capabilities available to agents and other channels in addition to the standard interface.
Salesforce describes Headless 360 as an umbrella for a group of platform capabilities rather than a single SKU. Which features you can use depends on your Salesforce editions and licences, which we review with you.
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI tools discover and call external tools and data. Salesforce hosted MCP servers let MCP-aware agents work with Salesforce data and actions under your existing security model.
It can be, provided access is designed carefully: agents should run with their own identities and least-privilege permissions, with sharing rules, audit trails and testing in place. Governance is a core part of our approach.
Start with an assessment of one or two processes that would clearly benefit from agent access, such as case updates or quote creation, and prove the pattern before widening it.
